Evergreen Homes, Inc. is an Armstrong County provider of services to intellectually and physically challenged persons through the federally funded Waiver Program. Programs and services are voluntary and individualized. Direct support staff receive initial and continual on the job training to achieve the highest quality standard of service delivery. Training topics include First Aid/CPR, Fire Safety, Medication Administration, Crisis Prevention, Lifts/Transfers, Nutrition, Prevention of Abuse and Neglect, Incident Management, and more. All employees are subject to criminal background checks in compliance with Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, and Older Adult Protective Services.
