What is the Evergreen Homes, Inc. ATF?
The Evergreen Homes Adult Training Facility is a handicap accessible day program. This program was established in 1981 in order to provide pre-vocational training to individuals who are currently unable to benefit from other existing programs/services. The program has met the needs of those individuals by offering activities designed to encourage the development of new skills, while reinforcing their current abilities. The overall goal of the Adult Training Facility is to increase capabilities in both pre-vocational and community based instruction. This is done by using the likes, wants, and abilities for the foundation of each individuals learning experience.
In addition to our traditional Adult Training Center we also offer a specialized Older Adult Training Center specifically for adults aged 60 and over to meet the additional unique needs of older adults.
